But if we are ‘present’ in the scenario, the kids would like to follow us.

Stop before walking into the house

The moment you are about to enter your home is the time when you can find yourself free of everything related to work and home. If this moment is gone and you are in your home, there will be a lot of things in front of you and you will be busy with them in the next moment. So, you can stop right there before entering the home and ask yourself about what you need. There can be a lot of things in your mind at that moment. But listen to the urgent need you would have at that time. Commit to yourself about fulfilling that need and decide the time for it.
